The Queue is dead, long live Open Lobbies!
The queues weren't a hit, that's for sure. So we're trying something new. Now, when you join a dedicated server, you'll be able to type !open to indicate that you're looking for more players.
That will be displayed on the servers page on sc-panel.com, as well as a message will be sent to various Discord communities about it.
Some other changes have also been sneaking in lately. You can now see who's playing in a dedicated server in the server list. I've also added a Videos section where videos from around the community is added. When people that play SvM are streaming on Twitch, you might've also noticed that a message is displayed at the bottom of the page.
Next up, I'll take another look at the skill system to see if it can be tweaked a bit. No promises on when this will be done though.
If you enjoy SC-Panel and make use of it - please consider sponsoring me on Patreon so I can continue working on new features and keep the server up.
Please also consider sponsoring NoFrameLimit, one time donations are possible.
Seasons are launching
The leaderboard is changing from an endless leaderboard to be seasonal instead. Each season will last 6 months, and then everyone will be reset so people can climb the ladder again.

- First round recorded on 2025-03-18
- 1849 unique nicknames recorded on SC Panel

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who has decided to sponsor this project on Patreon. I very much appreciate all of you. Your support has really fueled my motivation to keep pushing SC Panel forward. Today marks the first update of several to come.
Open Matchmaking
As some of you already know, I'm the author behind some of the Discord queue bots used by several communities in the Splinter Cell world. These have been running well so far, but I believe we can do better. One thing that has always frustrated me about the current bots is that they exist in silos. One community might have one or more queues running, while another community does the same. This can lead to two simultaneous queues running - neither of which fills up.
My solution to this problem is to create one global queue that everyone can use, regardless of which community they belong to - or even if they don't belong to one.
This new queue works both on the website (see "Queue" in the sidebar) and via Discord. You can join the queue from either platform, and you'll be playing with players from both the web and Discord communities.
I know that some communities value their independent spaces, and I hope they'll see this queue as an addition rather than a replacement. The ultimate goal is for all of us to get as many rounds as possible in the game we love so much.
Please note that this queue is still new and will likely have bugs. Building a unified queue like this takes considerable time and thought to get right. If you encounter any issues, please let me know and I'll do my best to fix them.
I will start with a slow roll-out, so if you want this queue bot on your server please contact me directly to get the install link. In the meanwhile, if your favorite Discord server don't have the bot yet, you can join the SC Panel Discord (see below) to see it in action.
Map filters
I'm also happy to announce a highly requested feature: you can now filter rounds by map for any player.
When you filter on a map, you'll see:
- The player's win rate on that specific map
- A count of how many rounds have been played on that map
- Only the rounds played on that map in the rounds list
Again, a huge thank you to my Patreon subscribers - your support not only ensures that SC Panel will continue to exist, but also makes these updates and future features possible.
As a side note, SC Panel now have a Discord. If you're not part of any Splinter Cell communities, you can find the Discord queue in there. I do not have any grand plans for the Discord server right now, so don't feel presurred to join if you don't want to.
